Annulments
Annulments are rare. They can only be granted if either party to a marriage is incapable
from want of age or understanding of consenting to any marriage. If a party is
incapable of entering into marriage for physical reasons (including STDs, intoxication,
etc.), then the Court may annul a marriage. Finally, if marriage was agreed to by fraud
or duress, then a marriage may be annulled.
If parties do not qualify for an annulment, then a divorce is the only option. For more
