Having trouble paying a large retainer?  The Bryant Firm can help!
Depending on the case, some attorneys may require thousands of dollars up front before they will
represent you.  Others charge anywhere between $150.00 and $400.00 per hour!  At The Bryant
Firm, we believe in alternative fee agreements.

The Bryant Firm accepts all clients on a monthly retainer fee of as little as $425.00 per month.  As
long as The Bryant Firm represents you, you pay this simple fee plus all the expenses of your
case, such as copies, letters, travel expenses, filing fees, court costs, and the like.  However, fees
are not set until the attorney has had an opportunity to review and assess your case.  If you would
like to save money, you can still pay a retainer up front.

Even with the payment plan, The Bryant Firm is more affordable than most attorneys.  One client
was quoted a $35,000 retainer to take his federal drug case.  The Bryant Firm took the case for
$750.00 per month plus costs at a final bill of less than $5,000.00.  We cannot guarantee that you
will receive a similar fee structure, as each case is different and must be evaluated independently
before fees are assessed.  However, this is only one example of how The Bryant Firm can save
you money.

Why charge like this?  We are not in the business to get rich.  We are here to help.  We know what
we need to survive, and that is the extent to which we accept clients and bill.  We can better control
the work load this way and work equally hard on every client's case.

At The Bryant Firm, we firmly believe in assisting our clients in reaching a negotiated or mediated
settlement.  Research shows that people are more likely to be satisfied with the outcome of their
legal case if they are able to resolve the matter themselves as opposed to asking a judge to
decide for them.  Furthermore, a negotiated or mediated settlement is something that each client
has control over.  Once the matter is submitted to a judge or jury, you lose control of the situation
and place your fate in the hands of one judge or twelve jurors.  The quicker you settle your case,
the less you spend in attorney fees.  There is little to lose by at least trying to settle.

There is also a mechanism in the Arkansas Rules of Civil Procedure called "
In forma pauperis."
If a judge grants
in forma pauperis treatment, then your filing fees are waived.  At The Bryant Firm,
we screen every new client to determine whether they may qualify for
in forma pauperis treatment
and will gladly assist you in filling out the appropriate paper work.

The Bryant Firm also takes a limited number of cases
pro bono.  There are many factors that go
into making a decision to take a case
pro bono, such as the complexity of the case, the amount of
time that must be dedicated to the case, the financial condition of the client, the possibility of
recovering attorney fees in the case, and more.  Ask our attorney if you qualify to receive
pro bono
assistance.
